Sedation Dentistry is formally known as Enteral Conscious Sedation or Oral Administered Sedation administered by taking a pill. The leading group of drugs used is Benzodiazepines. Often patients believe they fell asleep during the procedure. They have significant sedative effects but also have a slight amnesia effect. Therefore, patients often recall nothing or very little.

At Magnuson Dental, your safety during sedation is our priority. We carefully monitor each patient by continuously tracking blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation to ensure safety. Due to the medications used during sedation, patients are required to have a responsible adult drive them to the appointment and home after the procedure.
